About.

Starting out determined to be a ballet dancer, Tami set her course to that goal. Several dance scholarships, and then acceptance to the High School of Performing Arts in NYC, seemed to secure her dream.  Blessed with many talents, she also took to piano from age 2...being able to play by ear. Her later training opened doors for many things and paths in her life, but not necessarily they way she expected.

It seems God had other plans.

Tami has worn many hats over the years. Ballet dancer, ballet teacher,  Wife, Mom, Russian Translator, Pastor's wife, Deaconess, Choir director, Worship Leader, Farmer,Shepherd, Gardener, Plantscaper, Substitute teacher,Environmentalist, Music Composer, Song  writer, Grandmother, Producer, Keyboardist, Talent adjudicator , Psalmist  and more.

Known in Church circles as a Psalmist...Tami's passion for the past 29 years has been putting scripture to music.  Occasionally her own songs "happened".

She also is a composer of soft instrumentals, having had  her work used in venues such as restaurants and businesses. She also composed a song for an indie cartoon. Her instrumentals are in the process of being made available online as Soft Sounds Project.

Twelve years ago, as she started to share some of  her music, online, she got a big encouragement and help from a fellow musician, Daniel Rippy. That changed her life forever. With his help and council, she taught herself  and is still learning how to produce her own music. All this, accomplished with the help of technology in  her little home office/studio.

These pages will give just a sampling of her work. It is her hope that these songs bless the hearer in some way.

The name Miriam Ministries was born from a dream that Tami had, where she was called Miriam by God.
